X CODAIP is organized by the Law School of Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and its Post Graduation Program (PPGD/UFPR) intermediated by the Group of Studies of Authorial and Industrial Rights (GEDAI/UFPR). The main objective is the study of major aspects related to Copyright development inside the Information Society.

The event, on its 10th edition, represents an important step forward the resumption of States responsibility in conceiving public policies in a contemporaneous and strategic field inside the context of a digital environment and technological convergence.

The Conference meets other initiatives seeking to stimulate a critical and deep approach of Intellectual Property Law focusing on public and economic interests that relate to the issues of Copyright and Public Interest.
